My description

Physically, I am not medium height, I´m too tall. My body is slim and my legs are more or less half of my body. I´m tanned and I used to be more dark-skinned in summer. My hair is a bit longer than shoulder-length and it´s wavy, when I was little I had curly hair, I´m dark-haired and I love it.

My personality, I´m shy when I´m with unknown people, but with my friend I´m very likeable. I like to spend my time doing sport or hanging out with my friends. I like to be a hard-working person but also I love to spend my time doing nothing. I´m very caring and friendly.

I´m not used to smart clothes, I wear more casual. I would like to wear more stylish clothes but with it I feel strange.

THE REAL THING by Henry James

The author of this story is Henry James, who was born in 1843 in New York. He has lived in both  sides of the Atlantic Ocean, where he was born and also in Massachusetts where he is bury. He used a lot phases refers to thought and conscience, this method is use, nowadays by writers like James Joyce and Virginia Woolf.

The story starts in the house of a painter, who was visited by two special persons, they were Mr. and Mrs. Monarch, they looked like if they were rich, and he thought that they wanted to buy a painting but actually they were unemployed and they needed money. The painter was recommended by Mr. Rivet. They finally convinced he to be their models and they started to pose for him. The painter also has another model, she is Mrs. Church which is the best model ever, she can be whatever you want. 

One day, A little Italian guy, Oronte, comes to the house and he ask for a work and the painter told  him that he needed a servant  and Oronte started working for the painter and also he used to help him like models  for his paintings. His painting of the Monarch  were showed to a very good friend of the painter, Jack Hawley,  and he said that it was wrong and he needs inspiration and their models didn´t give it, so he had to change Monarch and painted Oronte, the Italian, and Mrs. Church. He tried to lay out Monarch but they did all to avoid this and they started to be like servant, and They continuous working .

In my opinion, it ´s a good novel because it explain the society of this time and the form that appearance it´s the most important thing. There are some aspect that I don´t understand very well because is a physical literature and there are a lot of reflexions and thoughts.

Are you against or for using animals for medical research?

Nowadays, a lot of laboratories use animals  to analyze how are results of the product that they want to sell and if it has secondary effects because animals are too much similar to humans than other things although it can be dangerous for them.

I´m against these experiments but there are arguments both for and against. I´m in favour of trying first the medication before giving it to humans but they can try it in another way, no in animals. In addiction a lot of rabbits, dogs, little mouses, monkeys and more die due to this experiments or they may get sick.

All in all, the laboratories have to try to work without hurting and I think it might be possible. 

Decade 2000- 2010

This decade was a big step for the politics, in the EEUU was a big change, in 2008; Barack Obama was the first president of the White House that is a black person.

One of the most important things that happened in this decade was the assault to the World Trade Center (Twins Towers), in 11 September 2001, in this attack about 3000 persons died and another 6000 were injured.

In the world of music, the death of Michael Jackson (King of Pop) in 2009 was the most important event. In cinema, I had read that the best film was Gladiator (2000).

The most important inventions were most of the things related to the Internet like Wikipedia, a web with a lot of information, YouTube and things like that.

By the end, there were good and bad, difficult times for all. It was the era of the technology and the new things for the citizens. There were a lot of changes in the general life.

The class of today 24/09/14

I think that the class of today has been a little boring because we´re revising the things that we have learnt the others years and I know it because we  repeat it every years.

And I think that it so unfair the topic about the positive/negative because in my class I´m in the last sit and if the people is talking when the class finish and the teacher says the homework only the people that its in the first sits hear the homework.

And next day when the teacher asks for the homework, all of the people that aren´t on the first sit   don´t have all the homework because they didn´t hear it and the teacher puts negative to all.

And in my opinion this is so unfair.
To the rest of the class I think all its OK.

My Summer ´14

My summer has been very boring, because I didn´t do any special. Some days I went to the beach, for example L´Azohia. I went to the swimming pool because I like it more than the beach.
 My family travelled to Barcelona but I didn´t go because they went to visit the family of my grandfather and they didn´t visit anything, only one day, and it was boring.
Also, in August, my cousin came from Santander to stay here for 2 week and it was so interesting because we went  to visit some sites of Cartagena.

Writting: review of a book.

“Buenos Días Princesa”

I´d like to recommend you a trilogy which I read last summer and winter. There are three books, “Buenos Dias princesa”,”No sonrías que me enamoro” and “¿Puedo soñar contigo?”.The author is Blue Jeans.

The principal theme of this book is love and the main characters are a group of friends called`el club de los incomprendidos´.The story is about the life and the things that happened to these six characters.

The things I like most is the way that the author keeps you in constant suspense because you can´t stop reading this books, and the story is so interesting.
